The LighterLife Diet

The LighterLife Diet is a weight loss plan which is based on what dietitians call a very low-calorie diet (VLCD). It relies too on weekly counselling which indicates how much involvement there is in the diet.

The VLCD is followed by consuming a series of meal replacement food packs daily. These packs are based on soups, shakes, bars and mousses. It has similarities to the SlimFast diet but does not shed the pounds as slowly as that one.

The LighterLife diet is ideal for those who need a rapid weight loss. It is followed by those whose BMI is over 25 or more. If you are morbidly obese then it might be the ideal diet. Doctor’s advice should be sought before embarking on what is seen as an extreme diet.

The LighterLife fast Plan is based on the famous 5:2 intermittent fasting plan.

One of the positive aspects is the use of counselling which helps the dieter understand the nature and relationship with food. It is intended to use psychology to obtain longer lasting benefits by keeping the weight off.

  1. A diet which is just hopeless in my view. Just a way to make a load of money through shoddy marketing. Slimfast is so much better and more effective.
