Glycine

Glycine is the simplest amino-acid in the body but possible one of its most important. It has a broad role in many metabolic functions:- muscle, cognitive and metabolic. It is part of a biochemical process which helps to break down and move or transport critical nutrients throughout the body. These include glycogen and fats which are needed by the body of generating energy. The overall role is to keep digestive, cardiovascular, immune and nervous systems in good working order.

Functions:

  1. Promoting muscle growth.
  2. Repairing and protecting cartilage and joints.
