Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is a herb which is rich in nutritious vitamins, minerals and detoxifying substances, that it was once known as ‘the official remedy for disorders’. Dandelion root can stimulate digestion and act as a natural diuretic which makes it popular in herbal weight loss programs but primarily its best use is as a support to the liver. Method Of Preparation

  • To use Dandelion root as a diuretic, take it as a decoction or tincture.
  • To use Dandelion leaf as a diuretic simply drink it as an infusion by adding two teaspoons of leaves to a cup of boiling water and steeping for up to ten minutes.
