Monster Energy is a brand from Coca-Cola. They’ve been producing great energy drinks for many years now. It is one of the leading brands in the energy drink sector and is only superseded by Celsius although much of this is down to their heavy discounting and marketing. The product is usually produced in the USA with subcontracted producers in other parts of the world adding to the volumes. What stands out for the consumer are the vibrant, almost garish colours in the packaging – the green especially used M as if it were slashed into the can and thus makes it extremely distinctive.
The standard pack is a 16 fl. ounce offer of 2 servings in the ubiquitous aluminium can. A typical serve is 8 fluid ounces so there is certainly twice as much per can as might be required by the consumer. For convenience you can purchase as a pack of 4, 12 or 24 through online retailers.
It is unashamedly a caffeine drink! It contains a caffeine amount of 160mg per double serve. Fos some of us it is the drink that gets you through the day.
From a taste perspective, the product certainly has a smoother flavour than its competitors. Most sparkling beverages use carbonation as a standard but there is a version called Monster Energy Nitro which relies on nitrous oxide which creates a much smoother profile rather than the harsher form from carbon dioxide.

Look for the Monster Energy Zero Ultra, Sugar Free Energy Drink which contains absolutely no sugar and just 5 calories. The flavour though is what you would expect from the Monster Energy brand. This particular flavour has been tailored with a light citrus flavour which maps it out from the competition.
