The Use of ppGpp (Alarmone Guanosine Tetraphosphate) in Biotechnology

The alarmone guanosine tetraphosphate, commonly known as ppGpp (or sometimes pppGpp), plays a crucial role in cellular responses to environmental stress and nutrient availability in bacteria.
