Very simple to use. I had steamed salmon with potato and greens on the other two layers and at the end of the cooking period got some really great results. I have never used one before but this is a triumph really for a novice. the vegetables tasted brilliant and not like the overcooked stuff I used to get at school or my Mum’s roast dinners.

I have been using this steamer for most of my dinners but I have not tried all the components yet. The best has got to be the vegetables and I think it is the broccoli and spring greens which seems to fare best of all. The french beans, new potatoes along with mange tout are all tasting fabulous. The instruction manual is easy to follow and use – I would probably say the best and it’s also really well written. Definitely recommend this to anyone

Oh dear ! needs a bit more work I feel. The worst bit is topping up with water as you can only use a really small jug. When I remove the lid, the water which has collected then drips everywhere despite my best attempts to stop it. It seems to drip in all the wrong places.

Having said that it does deliver on steaming. We have had two excellent meals since we bought it but Russell need to iron out some major flaws in the design.

seems to take a while to get to its full steaming potential but it works well enough once it gets going. I have managed two full baskets but not the third yet. The side filling spouts allows a lot of steam to escape. I find it difficult to store because the baskets sit inside each other but you cannot store them upside down over the base unit. Does drip quite a lot of water but hopefully this will be manageable in the future.
