   Love a stand mixer and always wanted one. This one is exceptional for pastry work. Very easy to use as well.

   Got this as a replacement for my earlier Kenwood of which I am a fan. Even though the cost more the stand mixers are superb and so much better than my hand held ones. Being really amateur I use it to make dough and batter for cakes and Yorkshire puddings. Really enjoy using it and its not an issue taking up space on the counter.

   This is a compact really nicely made Kenwood mixer and exactly what I had hoped to get. It is a replacement for my previous Kenwood which was exactly the same model but I think your readers ought to know how good it really is. I used to find the dough hook was a bit on the small size but since the family size has reduced as the kids have gone to uni. I find it makes smaller batches of dough which I need. By the way I have been following Foodwrite for 8 years now and whilst i think some of the articles are a bit over my head I like the recipes to be honest.

   Not bad for a fixed mixer. Have managed a number of recipes so far which need a properly worked up cake mix or a batter. Wish I had got one earlier.
