Using it for stews and pastas. Does whole chickens as well but you have to make sure they are cooked through. When releasing the steam use a wooden spoon from a distance as releasing it lets steam issue forth like an old train. No problems with cleaning. Bit scratched which is why it loses a star.

Little disappointed to be honest with the look of this one compared to past crock pots. Having said that it does what all those other ones did years ago. I bought this via your site and I think you have created a decent portal for others to compare products. I find the Amazon site itself just too fussy and it lacks simplicity.

My husband and i ended up being quite contented with this wonderful cooking item Did not know how useful it would be so we bought a second one for his mother for Christmas. Really looking forward to seeing her face with it although I think we bought the last one on Amazon. Sorry other people !
