Multi-Cooker

What a great kitchen appliance – the multi-cooker. It really does what is claims to which is cook your food a variety of ways. There are some famous brands to be looked at including Instant Pot, Ninja, COSORI, Crock-Pot (who could ignore them) and so on.

The multi-cooker is a type of pressure cooker  but a bit more versatile because it has a brain in the form of a chip. All of them are easily programmable and they perform a range of functions – probably too many because you will not use them all. The types of cooking possible are slow cooker, rice cooker, sauté, yoghurt maker, steamer and warmer, as well as pressuring cooking.

The multi-cooker will suit all family sizes. we have seen them from 3 liters  right up to 8 liters. They are designed for all sorts of family gatherings or for providing a home cooked meal when everyone is out of work. These were the devices of choice for students in shared accommodation because they put in what they wanted and it was cooked when they came home. great for curry !

All devices have significant levels of safety and make a deal of being energy efficient and good for the planet because of their low carbon footprint. Generally the best are stainless steel in construction. All now run on electricity so there is no real need to use pressure cooker and unless you still swear by them.

Many of the devices are designed for different electricity systems so it should not be an issue finding a device that is suited to your domestic electricity market.
