When deciding on a toaster perhaps the first thought is whether you want a 2-slice or a 4-slice toaster. It is all about convenience and it is essential to think about how quickly you can prepare breakfast in the smallest time possible. A small family will manage with a 2-slice toaster easily but any bigger and the 4-slice version comes in handy. There are 6-slice toasters but that is essentially for the largest family size.

We like the defrost function ! Nothing like saving bread so freeze it but to really make full use of it, it is only suitable for toasts. The defrost function helps greatly here.

Consider cleaning as toasted breadcrumbs are not easy to deal with. Try to find a toaster with a tray that collects the crumbs. It is also useful to have an auto shut off function which makes saves energy and helps with cleaning. All suppliers should offer a warranty of at least 1 year.
