Pump Intra- Pump – Intraworkout BCAA Powder
Intra-Pump™ contains the ideal 2:1:1 BCAA Ratio. Many BCAA formulations contain higher than normal leucine contents but the 2:1:1 ratio is the ideal based on clinical studies and anecdotal evidence coming out of the gym. The ratio refers to the following amino acids, leucine, isoleucine and valine which are all needed for muscle synthesis.
The product is also claimed to help reduce fatigue especially when it’s taken during a serious workout. It also helps to extend the duration of the exercise period.
The product provides 30 servings and comes in the following flavours, ‘strawberry lemonade’ and ‘Green Apple’. The Strawberry Lemonade flavour provides strong berry notes along with citrus fruit and hides the bitterness associated with high amino acid products. The Green Apple is as close to a Granny Smith type apple flavour as you can get.

The preworkout powder is full of goodies for sustaining you as you embark on a serious work-out in the gym. It contains one of the most thoroughly researched supplements known – creatine along with the amino acid taurine, Carnosyn beta-alanine, the energy stimulant, caffeine, Alphasize, which is their proprietary ingredient for maximising energy use, and betaine nitrate.
One note of caution – it doesn’t have the greatest of tastes and for me it has an overly sour note especially in the aftertaste. It is probably a combination of high caffeine with heir own flavouring system. Great claims though made for it.
