About The PRO JYM Range Of Protein Blends (Currently only available in US)
The PRO JYM range of products is based on a blend of three key food proteins: whey, casein and egg. This blend (50% casein, 40% whey and 10% egg protein) is reckoned to be optimal for muscle-building compared to whey protein alone. Why ? The range of amino-acids is better proportioned with a wider profile, especially the essential types such as the branched-chain amino-acids, leucine, isoleucine and valine. This is better than single protein source supplements.
The proteins are derived from good quality food-grade sources, whey protein isolate (WPI), micellar casein, milk protein isolate and egg albumin. No creatine or other dietary supplements are added.
A serving size of 24 grams per scoop means an appropriate protein content representing 48% of the RDA is delivered without the issue of protein spiking. In some blends, high nitrogen amino-acids like arginine and lysine are added that artificially raise the protein content based on nitrogen analysis – not an acceptable commercial practise.
A typical serving size of 24g delivers 7.5g whey protein isolate, 7.0g micellar casein, 7.0g milk protein isolate and 2.5g egg albumin.
The product has a superior taste when made up in water, milk or various nut milks and can be part of a high-protein smoothie where fruit, especially red fruit, almond or peanut butter is also included. In a 500ml liquid volume, the powder mix produces a thick, creamy texture and on its own has a subtle vanilla flavour which is considered high quality and not overpowering or with a strong aftertaste.
About The Pre JYM Blends
Pre JYM blend is designed to get more energy from working out in the gym. Such work outs need not be gruelling when Pre JYM is available to replenish and nurture aching muscles.
The product contains a plethora of ingredients designed to maximise performance both with enhancing and retention benefits. During severe muscle exercise, many essential branched chain amino-acids (BCAAs) are consumed in metabolism and unavailable for muscle rebuilding. Creatine HCl, betaine and beta-alanine are also present for helping maintain endurance because these three ingredients promote endurance and stamina during the workout session. Caffeine along with huperzine A are there for mental focus and concentration. Caffeine has a number of EFSA claims associated with it and the body of evidence for its clinical functions are always developing. N.B. Huperzine A is not found in UK supplements.
The JYM ALPHA supplement product is a mix of ingredients designed to boost testosterone production with a view to maximising energy production. The product contains fenugreek seed extract, damiana leaf powder (Turnera diffusa), Ashwagandha Root extract (Withania somnifera), Tongat Ali root extract (Eurycoma longifolia), diindolylmethane, and quercetin.
