RXBAR (Health Bars)

RXBARs are whole food protein bars. They pride themselves on being very upfront about their ingredients and are quite explicit – as they say no B.S.

At the moment, these bars are riding high in what is a highly competitive environment when it comes to food bar products. The marketing and advertising is very straightforward and relies heavily on ensuring the message about the products is simple.

The bars are made with a variety of straightforward and simple ingredients: egg whites, dates, nuts and natural ingredients such as cacao and blueberries like 100 percent cacao or blueberries. There are at the moment 20 flavours to choose from.

RXBARs pride themselves on their claims:-

No added sugar, no gluten, no soy, no dairy, no GMO, no B.S. !

Generally, all bars contain 12g of egg white protein otherwise known as egg albumen, 4g of fiber (fibre) and an energy value of between 200-210 calories. The protein bar blueberry for example is 52g per bar.

They are  ideal as a breakfast bar for people on-the-go, for pre- and post-workout fuel, or simply as a convenient and healthy snack mid day.

Each Variety Pack contains 12 RXBAR protein bars; 2 Peanut Butter, 2 Coconut Chocolate, 2 Blueberry, 2 Chocolate Sea Salt, 1 Maple Sea Salt, 1 Coffee Chocolate, 1 Mint Chocolate and 1 Apple Cinnamon.

Currently, the most popular bar flavour is their chocolate sea salt which is the number 1 bar in the Amazon selling lists (Oct. 2017). Clearly the flavour is right and it makes sense to mix the sweetness and distinctiveness of chocolate flavour with saltiness.

Key ingredients:-

Blueberry, peanuts, egg whites (albumen).
